About me
Clinical music therapist and lifelong musician
My background
Music at the heart of my journey
I have been making music since the age of seven. As a pianist, guitarist, drummer, percussionist and singer, I have always seen music as a language capable of expressing what words cannot always convey.
I discovered music therapy while living in the United States, where I spent several years. This experience brought together two essential parts of my journey: a deeply rooted musical practice and a clinical approach attentive to emotional life, behaviour and relationships.

My approach
Listening to what is expressed, with or without words
My practice gives equal importance to verbal and non-verbal expression. Music can help establish a connection, engage emotions, support self-expression and create a space for communication when words are difficult, unavailable or insufficient.
My approach has also been informed by personal psychoanalytic work. Throughout the sessions, I pay close attention to emotions, behaviour, the way each person relates to others and the inner processes that emerge over time.
Each course of therapy is shaped around the person, their abilities, their history and the aims agreed with them, their family or the professionals supporting them.
Clinical experience
Over fifteen years of practice with a wide range of people
For more than fifteen years, I have worked with children, teenagers and adults with a wide range of needs, including autism, learning disabilities, profound and multiple disabilities, behavioural difficulties, psychosis, acquired brain injury and traumatic brain injury.
My professional experience includes work in a variety of health and social care settings, including specialist educational centres, residential care facilities, community mental health services, medically supported homes, peer-support groups, day centres and services for older people.
This work has given me a detailed understanding of institutional settings, multidisciplinary teamwork and the preparation of clinical reports relating both to individuals and to group dynamics.
Training
Qualified clinical music therapist
I trained at the Atelier de Musicothérapie de Bourgogne in Dijon. My research dissertation explored how music therapy can support social interaction.
This remains central to my practice: using music not as an end in itself, but as a therapeutic medium through which relationships can develop, expression can be supported and each person can move forward in their own way.
French & English
Fully bilingual therapy
I am fully bilingual in French and English, having trained as an interpreter and lived in the United States for several years.
Sessions can be conducted entirely in English, both for individual therapy and for work within care or educational settings.
Area covered
Paris and the Île-de-France region
Based in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, I also work across departments 77, 92, 93, 94 and 95.
